Youth Ecopreneur Award recognizes and celebrates the efforts of young eco-entrepreneurs who are driving positive change.
Implemented by the Ye! Community from the International Trade Centre in partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Google, the ITC’s Youth Ecopreneur Awards will award one overall winner the 2023 Youth Ecopreneur Award during ITC’s flagship global trade forum – WEDF, happening in Mongolia. The top 4 finalists will pitch their business live on stage in front of a jury of business experts and key stakeholders from around the globe.
The prizes for the winner of the Youth Ecopreneur Award include:
- a cash prize of USD 5,000
- access to the Google Startups for Sustainable Development Programme (S4SD)
- mentorship and support from Google
- tailored support on IP protection from WIPO,
- international exposure through spotlight pieces from ITC
- travel to Mongolia to attend WEDF.
To be eligible, entrepreneurs must be under 35 years old and promote sustainability, circularity, and/or the green economy. The business must be majority run by a young person and registered in an eligible country. See the list here.
We are seeking the best and brightest youth ecopreneurs from developing countries who are creating change in their community and advancing the transition toward a greener, more sustainable future.
